Today's Challenge: What was the last book you read? What was it about? Would you recommend it?
Sycamore Row is a novel by John Grisham which revisits his old characters from first novel, A Time To Kill. Its about a wealth white man who is dying of lung cancer but hangs himself leaving a handwritten will stating that almost his entire wealth is to be given to his black maid. It creates alot of racial tension and problems between the maid, his family, and Jake once he is hired to help the maid get whats hers.
I think everyone should read it and if you haven't read A Time To Kill, read it first.
